Xiaomi Watch S3 to come with bigger battery and 4G

Xiaomi is reportedly in the process of developing a new flagship smartwatch, as disclosed by the well-known leaker Digital Chat Station on their Weibo profile. This upcoming smartwatch, provisionally named the Watch S3, is expected to feature a larger battery compared to its predecessor, the Watch S2. Additionally, this will mark the first time that a Xiaomi wearable will offer LTE connectivity.

The Watch S3 is anticipated to come equipped with a 520 mAh battery, a slight improvement over the 500 mAh battery found in the Watch S2. The OLED screen is rumored to incorporate adaptive refresh rate technology, a feature that should significantly enhance battery life. Furthermore, this forthcoming smartwatch is set to support 4G connectivity, allowing for native voice calls.

In response to comments, the leaker hinted that the watch is likely to make its debut toward the end of the year, potentially coinciding with the launch event for Xiaomi’s 14 series.
